Baby Grace, just 2 months old, smiles her way throutgh our photo session at her Christening last Sunday. The whole family is beautiful! It was so nice to share in such an important day. Thank you Sonneva for having me as your photographer.

Emily ruth Newborn Photos

I am so excited to share our new cousin Emily Ruth! What a good little baby and such a doll! This little poodle was awake 90% of our session! But yes we did get her to close those beautiful eyes for a few moments. We did the session at Maria and Bob’s new home which is gorgeous, and we had a special hand made blanket from Auntie Maria’s Mom to use! I included examples in the gallery of images processed 4 ways. Not all images look good in plain black and white and not all images look good sepia. When you request black and white I will carefully choose what works best for your images. Enjoy your photo’s and thank you for a wonderful day!

Patrick’s Newborn photo session

Meet Patrick! Just under 2 weeks old and such a love. I used an oldie but goodie basket with the new fur and fabrics. Little brother Ryan christened my new studio a couple years back, and Mom Kelly is that gorgeous Mama I just photographed in her home. Kelly is a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and always looks amazing. When I know I’m seeing Kelly, I put on makeup :)

36th GLPA International Awards 2012

For the past 30 years, Greater Lynn Photographic Asscoiation hosts the largest International Photo Competition. This year they had over 6000 entries from all over the world. After 2 days of judging they accept about 2000 images and award 40 medals, and several honor awards. Sasha ‘s image titled “Little Daydreamer” won an honor award.

It makes me espcially happy that Sasha, is my friend Ivana‘s youngest daughter! It’s great to share the joy!

The 4 entries below will be part of the slideshow of images on April 1st at 2pm and April 2nd at 7:30 pm at GLPA 225 Boston Street in Lynn, Ma. Hope to see you there. Admission is $8.00 and helps support this project. :)

Gabriella born premature at 30 weeks is now considered a full term baby. She was 40 weeks at the time of this session. Mom Elaina says she is healthy, with just a bit of anemia and residual reflux which is common with preemies. I worked ever so carefully to help her not spit up and she did so well. What a little poodle! She’s gorgeous!

Well our photo shoot was going to be a big surprise for Daddy, but sometimes it’s hard to keep a secret! Liam is just 3 weeks old. Big brother Keegan came prepared with his Hulk T - shirt which we had to get a shot of :)Love. Keegan’s huge crystal eyes are very expressive, a photographers dream. Liam was perfect, he slept a bit and then woke up to give me those newborn smiles. Thanks Torrey for a great photo shoot!

Everett

Everett is a sweet cherub born just after Valentines Day. Big Sister Harper only 2 yrs old held him very gently, so we could get a quick sibling shot. Mom Michelle is a tall, beautiful, bit of a thing, and Everett weighed in at 9 lbs 9 oz! Good Job Michelle! All us mom’s can relate, right ladies? He wanted to look around most of the session, in what we nurses call the quiet alert state. I love when babies look right into the camera! He was so engaging, a fun baby to work with. All those sleeping shots, hard won my friends!
